University Store makes every effort to get you the highest possible price for your used retail textbooks.

Buyback operates on a first come, first served basis so present your books early to get the best price for your textbook. The quantity being bought back by University Store is limited and may be reached at any time. The price paid back during buyback is subject to change without notice. Many titles that reach University Store’s quantity limit are also being bought back at national wholesale price.

University Store buys back titles that faculty have requested for use the following semester at 50% of the new retail price.

Thousands of other titles are bought back each semester for wholesale value, up to 40% of the new retail price. These textbooks are then distributed to other colleges and universities nationwide.

Textbook condition is important. Workbooks, study guides, lab manuals, spiral bound books, books with perforated pages, books with excessive writing or highlighting, books with missing components (CD’s, leaflets, etc.) , missing or badly damaged covers, broken spines or loose/missing pages are generally not bought back. Additionally, open and activated digital textbooks and access codes are not eligible for buyback. University Store reserves the right to determine the quality of each book to determine if the books is in re-saleable condition and reserves the right to refuse the purchase of any book based on condition.
